An intimate event for the shortlisted writers of the 2022 #Merky Books New Writers’ Prize. Attendees were able to hear from authors, literary agents and meet with editors to get feedback on their work. This one-day event took place in-person at the Hoxton, Southwark with the panel sessions being live-streamed to Facebook and Instagram. Speakers were briefed ahead of the event as well as on the day to make them feel as comfortable as possible with what to expect. All were welcomed to a warm and aesthetically pleasing space with greenery, set against the London skyline.
